COVID-19 Update

Reducing Risk and Uncertainty for Our Clients

Dear Clients and Partners,

We wanted to give you an update as to how ABS Group is responding to the COVID-19 Pandemic.  We are committed to our clients' success and keeping clients and industry informed about our actions regarding the evolving COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation. Our focus is to protect the health of ABS Group's global network of clients, consultants and communities to ensure their safety and continuity of service.

Message for ABS QE Customers Support for ABS NS Customers

We have activated and are executing our Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan and an Incident Management Team (IMT) is regularly monitoring and coordinating our global response. This team meets multiple times a week to review existing operations that may be impacted by COVID-19. The IMT is actively engaged with the business to ensure business continuity, and ABS Group is quickly responding to business changes as the need arises. An internal website has been established, providing the latest information, helpful links and resources.

Travel

We have suspended all non-essential international and domestic business travel to protect our team members and our clients. There will be no exceptions for any high-risk areas. Business critical essential travel is being considered on a case by case basis, and a review and approval process has been implemented. Employee attendance at all large internal and external conventions, forums, conferences and events that require travel are cancelled until further notice. We are also coordinating with our clients to ensure our policies align with theirs.

Health

We have instituted a thorough program of education based on the CDC and WHO health guidelines and have distributed information to train colleagues to minimize the spread of infection.  Most of our offices globally, including the US, have moved to remote work and will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before employees return to work.  We have also implemented a visitor screening and check-in protocol for offices that remain open.

Technology and Remote Work

Our technology platforms are robust and support continued operation and project commitments. ABS Group has a secure VPN to support remote work and video conferencing. We have extended virtual meeting technologies to meet this new demand and are encouraging employees to continue client outreach on these platforms.  All of our US offices and most of our global offices are continuing to operate through these platforms.

Health Screening

We require employees to report to their manager or HR Representative if they have traveled to a particular area where the infection is known to exist or is spreading or have been exposed to someone who is known to have been exposed to the infection. In those instances, a 14-day self-quarantine at home may be required, and issues will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.
