Demystifying the CVA Process for U.S. Offshore Wind Farms

ABS Group Technical Presentation

Demystifying the CVA Process for U.S. Offshore Wind Farms

Presented at the AWEA WINDPOWER 2018 Conference & Exhibition in Washington, D.C.

Objective third-party review during the earliest phases of development through installation and startup increases confidence in the safety and reliability of offshore assets. As the third-party CVA for the first commercial offshore wind farm in the U.S., ABS Group has over 34 active or completed projects with the U.S. Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE). To demystify the critical advisory role that an independent verifier provides during the design and construction phases, ABS Group presented on the CVA process for offshore wind farms at the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) WINDPOWER 2018 conference.

Our Global Renewable Energy team is actively involved in the development of U.S. offshore wind design standards through AWEA and American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

This technical presentation is available to download as a supplement to our "Lessons Learned from the First U.S. Offshore Wind Farm – Design, Manufacturing and Construction" presentation.
