Presenters
Darren Unger, Director, ABS Nautical Systems
Darren Unger currently serves as Director of the Fleet Management Center of Excellence for ABS Nautical Systems.
Based out of Houston, Darren has worked at ABS for over 38 years, the last 23 years in ABS Nautical Systems, now a division of ABS Group. Since joining ABS in 1982 Darren has worked in the Research and Development Department as a research engineer specializing in hydrodynamics, in the Technical Consistency Department as Manager of Quality Documentation responsible for global implementation of the ABS ISO 9000 compliant Quality System, in the Special Projects Department as Manager of Development for the SafeNet software product and most recently in various roles within ABS Nautical Systems.
Darren has expertise in fleet management principles, major software implementations, customer service, issue resolution and integration of marine software and technologies into maritime organizations.
Kashif Mohammed, Information Technology Manager, ABS Nautical Systems
Kashif Mohammed is the Strategic Information Technology Manager for ABS Nautical Systems. He is skilled in guiding navigation of modern technology and accustomed to driving efficiency and effectiveness by developing, delivering and supporting strategic plans. Mohammed has demonstrated skill in translating technical requirements to business solutions and carries a successful 13+ years record of building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
