Revisions to the
AS9104-1:2022
Aerospace Standard

Recently, the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) has provided revisions to the popular aerospace and defense standard, AS9104. This standard - a requirement for certification of aviation, space and defense quality management systems - is tasked with ensuring consistent quality improvements and cost reductions through the value system and supply chain. This significant revision will affect all stakeholders. As part of the revision, there will be changes to audit requirements and the new version of the IAQG Online Aerospace Supplier Information System (OASIS) database.

In part one of our two-part webinar series, Global Aerospace Program Manager Paul Dionne, will highlight the standard's revisions, how it will affect both certification bodies and certified organizations and how requirements will change. Part two will dive deeper into these revisions, cover the new Performance-Based Surveillance and Renewal Process (PBS/RP) and examine the qualification and maintenance requirements for organizations to participate in the program.
