Steve Grotsky

Vice President, Engineering

As Vice President, Engineering at ABS Consulting, Steve leads our Global Engineering team across multiple sectors including Offshore and Marine. The team specializes in complex CAPEX and OPEX engineering projects that support the risk management needs of our clients serving the global critical infrastructure.

Before moving to ABS Consulting, Steve worked for our parent organization, American Bureau of Shipping (ABS). At ABS, Steven began in 2008 as Marine Surveyor and progressed through several leadership roles requiring strategic vision, including Director of Commercial Operations. He also has extensive experience with marine and offshore assets, having performed a decade of work as a Surveyor across the US and China.
Additionally, his leadership and management skills were honed during his tenure as Manager of Special Projects at ABS while attending Harvard Business School.

Steve graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy with a focus in Marine Engineering and Shipyard Management. He also has an MBA from American Military University and holds a United States Coast Guard Second Assistant Engineer License of Motor, Gas Turbine and Steam for vessels of any horsepower.
